leukemia at one and 1/2 years old. He was a rescue collie and had been abandoned when we got him in January. I wrote
a tribute poem to him and one verse said:
In your shortened life, you bore all that was unfair,
If the Rainbow Bridge is, then you'll surely be there.
We were surprised and touched to see your reference to it in your beautiful tribute to Gracie. I only hope they will
both be waiting for us at Rainbow Bridge. |

New Years Eve at the young age of 3yrs. We had worked so hard together and had so many plans for the things we were

forgot to sign your book.
It brought tears to my eyes as your Gracie looked so very much like our fourth Collie but his ears were prick. Didn't
matter though. It is hard to understand why we are given our beloved Collies for such a short time. We have our
fifth and sixth at the present time with our sixth being a rescue Collie. I had to stop fostering as Max was our first
and was heartworm positive and almost eight. When he walked through our front door he joined our other Collie and
Border Collie Shep mix. He is now heartworm negative but the poor guy had a very hard time of it during the
treatment. When I go to the bridge it is going to be very very full of our Collies, Shelties, cats, horses and one
very special Sheltie mix.
I am so sorry for your loss. You will be in my prayers.
